Welcome to Don’s. It’s a family favorite for stocking up on all manner of weird meat compilations that you’ll probably turn your nose up at like boudin (sausage casing stuffed with ground meat and rice) and crawfish tails.
Living in San Diego, I don’t get access to Cajun delicacies like these very often. So when I visit Louisiana, I try to stock up. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had my suitcase flagged at TSA and watched with amusement as the agents pulled out frozen crawfish, Cafe Du Monde coffee, or a jar of Tony Chachere’s Cajun seasoning.
