It’s a sweet little collection of stories that are, I hope, humorous takes on my five weeks in Provence. The premise of the book centers around the fact that I had a very different expectation of what Provence would be like after reading Peter Mayle’s books about it. My own book is my rectifying my experiences with what other travel writers depicted for me.
