The tarot journey I set out on a few months ago has been interesting. I know innately when it's time to graduate to the next card.
I started out as the Fool, fumbling through my life here in Italy. As I got into the swing of things, I started manifesting with the Magician.
Now I feel quite clearly that I've moved onto the High Priestess.
Step Into Your Knowing
The High Priestess is all about intuition and Divine wisdom. How many of us ignore our intuition, instead doing what we feel we *should* do? [hand raised over here]
In my first weeks in Italy, I kept looking around me to get cues on how to act. I didn't want to stand out as a clumsy American, so I tried to act like the people around me.
The thing is...I AM a clumsy American! I butcher this beautiful language every day. I make all kinds of mistakes.
And I am not Italian. I never will be.
Once I had this realization, I started relying on my own inner wisdom for what I should do and how I should be. I felt more grounded immediately.
If the Italians don't like Su for being Su, I don't need 'em! (Though they have all embraced me so completely. It's humbling how kind people have been.)
Make Room for Wisdom
As the year winds to a close, I'm burrowing into my little nest by the sea and diving into learning. I'm taking a course for spiritual entrepreneurs and I'm wading through learning about the Gene Keys. And I'm about to dive into a course to learn how to leverage Pinterest for marketing. This is how I roll! Everything all at once!
Embodying the High Priestess can also be about sacred knowledge.
